HOLTEK New BH67F2493 Impedance and Electrochemical MCU

Holtek continues with its development of impedance and electrochemical MCUs and now follows with the launch of its new Flash MCU, the BH67F2493. The device has a high level of functional integration, high accuracy and low noise. Compared with the previous BH67F2476 device, the minimum operating voltage has been reduced to 1.8V and the program ROM/EEPROM storage capacity has been increased. The device is suitable for use in Glucose Meters, Glucose and Blood Pressure two-in-one Meters, Hemoglobin Testers and other related products. The device includes a fully integrated phase angle and electrochemical measurement AFE circuit, allowing AC impedance, phase angle and various other electrochemical physiological parameters to be directly measured by hardware. Amplifier gains and various parameters can also be controlled by software. With its internal 24-bit A/D converter, the device provides a high accuracy measurement function, which can implement glucose and other measurements. The integrated display driver circuit can directly drive LCD panels, offering internal charge pump regulator voltage and low power consumption features. The digital output interfaces include I²C, SPI and UART interface types. With regard to memory, the device contains a 64K×16 of Flash Program Memory, a 3072×8 RAM and an 8192×8 EEPROM. In addition to store large volumes of measurement data, the EEPROM can be used to store adjustment product parameters and calibration parameters. As for packaging, the device is supplied in 64-pin LQFP and 80-pin LQFP package types. The series of devices are pin-compatible.

HOLTEK New BH66F2455 Continuous Glucose Monitoring MCU

Holtek continues with its development of blood glucose monitoring products and now follows with the launch of its new Flash MCU, the BH66F2455. The device has the features of ultra-low power consumption, a small outline and a high level of functional integration making it suitable for use in continuous glucose monitoring products. The device includes an analog front end circuit (AFE), which contains ultra-low power OPAs, a low-power sensor bias voltage. The 24-bit A/D converter features a hardware auto-conversion mode that reduces the operating current during analog signal conversion. The device is supplied in a 3mm×3mm size package and requires only a few external components, which can meet the demands of low profile products. The bias configuration current is only 3.7μA and the average current during continuous conversion operation is only 4.8μA. These low current features can significantly extend the product service life and can subsequently support a wide range of applications, including two, three and four electrode electrochemical sensors. With regard to memory, the device contains 8K×16 of Flash Program Memory, a 512×8 RAM and a 512×8 EEPROM. The EEPROM can be used to store product adjustment parameters as well as data storage. As for packaging, the device is supplied in 24-pin QFN package type.

Holtek Semiconductor to Participate in Electronica India 2025

Holtek Semiconductor will exhibit at Electronica India 2025, held from September 17 to 19 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). As one of South Asia’s leading trade fairs for electronic components and production technologies, the event is organized by Messe München, Germany. At the exhibition, Holtek will showcase its latest technological developments and market-ready solutions. Featured applications include: Electric Two-Wheelers: Central controller unit, BLDC motor controller, dashboard display, battery management, and anti-theft control. BLDC Motor Solutions: High/low voltage ceiling fans, pedestal fans, air coolers, and BLDC e-chimneys with touch and gesture control. Health Products: Blood pressure monitors, glucose meters (BGM & CGM), ear thermometers, pulse oximeters, and electronic scales. Smart Energy & Safety: Energy storage inverters, smoke detectors, gas sensors, safety lights, and human presence detection. Wireless Control: Wireless doorbells and remote-control systems. Supporting India’s "Make in India" initiative, Holtek will also present touch-control reference designs for small home appliances, including Continuous low-power induction cooker solutions for local recipes. Headquartered in Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, Holtek set up its Indian subsidiary in Bangalore in 2018, followed by a North India branch in New Delhi in late 2024 to expand localized support and services. We warmly welcome all customers and partners to visit our booth for further discussions and collaboration opportunities.
